About Dylan
Dylan Bach writes speculative fiction and attends to the business of stay-at-home dads. A graduate of Portland State University, he channels a background in psychology to reflect upon the foibles of masculinity and Americana. Former teacher, radio host, and purveyor of cheap souvenirs, Dylan received an MFA at UBC’s School of Creative Writing in 2022 and maintains a position on PRISM International’s editorial board.
Dylan’s ongoing project, a fictional travel blog called Autumn by the Wayside, describes the off-kilter landscape that exists along the edges of the American interstate system. Weekly entries span the course of seven years and consider addiction, poverty, and wanderlust with dark humor and wide-eyed awe.
